Lights are used as landmarks in navigation and aviation. The best known example is a lighthouse on the coast to show ships their way.

In LIGHT FIRE Kurt Gäble applies the idea of navigational lights to everyday life. Long, lyrical lines represent a solid light, surrounded by an always changing, oversaturated world. Young people need those lights guiding their way; they need role models and orientation.
