Ladislav Kubes was born in southern Bohemia in 1924 and became leader of the group “Veselka” in 1952. He wrote more than 300 pieces – many of them are still popular today. In 1982, his son Ladislav Kubes jun. became leader of the group. “Willkommen-Polka” is a beautiful polka in a totally new edition by Musikverlag RUNDEL with modern graphics. This classic sounds great, even with smaller bands.
