George Harrison’s most successful contribution to the Beatles catalog is no doubt this familiar iconic ballad. Paul Murtha’s setting for band features alto sax on the melody, followed by the low brass, and a light swing style treatment of the bridge section. Scored with nice variety throughout, this offers a welcome change of pace number for any concert.
