De Oostenrijkse componist Hans Gansch (Kirnberg an der Mank, 1925), solotrompettist bij de Wiener Philharmoniker, droeg zijn mars ‘For Peace and Freedom’ (Voor Vrede en Vrijdheid) uit 1982 aan zijn landgenoot Kurt Waldheim op.
