Dit succesnummer van Mills en Ellington behoorde tot het standaardrepertoire van de Duke Ellington band. De volledige titel luidt: It don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that swing. Bekend is de legendarische uitvoering door Louis Armstrong met Duke Ellington (1899-1974) op de fameuze Great Reunion plaat in april 1961 in New York opgenomen.
