Der Wildschütz’ oder ‘Die Stimme der Natur’ (The Poacher, or The Voice of Nature) is a German Komische Oper, in three acts by german composer Albert Lortzing. It had its premiere at the Stadttheater in Leipzig on 31 December 1842. The aria ‘Fünftausend Taler’ is sung by the teacher Baculus in the second act.
