“The Elizabehtan Serenade” belongs to the best-known works of Roland Binge.
It was used as introductory music to a BBC 4 program. Outside England, it is probably his most popular composition.
The “Elizabethan Serenade” is a piece full of light heartedness. The woodwinds tweet delightedly in turn with the meoldious parts, played mostly by the high brass section.
