Beschrijving

Concert voor blaasorkest en trompetsolo. Spices is een opdracht van de trompettist José Cháfer, aan wie het stuk is opgedragen. Het werd voor het eerst gespeeld tijdens het “43rd Annual International Conference of San Antonio, Texas”, in mei 2018. Het werk is opgedeeld in verschillende secties die refereren aan het smaak universum door combinaties van verschillende kruiden. Om de zintuigen te stimuleren zijn er verschillende elementen zoals frisse munt, suiker, kaneel en pepermunt.
