Beschrijving

Letterlijk ‘De vogels van Brazilië’, hier bedoeld als de bevolking. In deel 1 Pássaros Coloridos (bontgekleurde vogels) bootst een ocarina of panfluit een amazonevogel na. Deel 2 Pomba Triste (droeve duif), een bossa-nova, gaat over de sambameisjes voor wie het carnaval niet steeds plezier is maar ook een bron van inkomsten. Deel 3 Os Pássaros no Carnaval (de vogels van het carnaval) is een typische snelle samba uit Rio en mondt uit in een spontane melodie gezongen door alle feestvierders.
